Both vocally and instrumentally, Southern Ontario reminds me of a song a played on Mohawk College radio back in the early 90′s called “Dougie’s Lament” by a band called Nine Big Dogs. If you can track it down, you may be mildly amused by the similarities in sound. (Plus, it’s a fun little song.)
